• Tax Free Exchanges - The topics included in this course covers the basics of a tax free exchange of investment property. Topics covered include requirements of a tax free exchange, types of exchanges and the methods for transferring title when an exchange takes place.
• Overview of Real Estate Law - The subject matter of this continuing education course will cover themes such as provisional status, reciprocity agreements, real estate forms, continuing education, prelicensure, and the Nebraska Real Esate Commision.
• Contracts and Closing Statements - This course will provide knowledge for preclosing procedures, RESPA, closing staements, prorations, contracts used in real estate, discharge of contracts, federal and local laws and requirements, and pertinent legal information.

These are the current requirements for renewing your Nebraska Real Estate Broker license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.


• To renew your Real Estate Broker License in the state of Nebraska, you are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
• Of the 12 continuing education hours, 3 of these must be in designated subject matter approved by the Board.
• All renewal materials including continuing education must be submitted by November 30 of the renewal year.
• Licensees are encouraged to maintain a record of continuing education completion for their records.
